PROJECT MANAGER SUPPORT STAFF
We currently have an opening for a Project Manager Support Staff Person.
As part of our team, you will work alongside the Project Managers, the Director of Horticulture, and the
Office Manager to help create estimates and service lists, price and secure materials, schedule
work and communicate with clients. This will include both Residential and Commercial Clients.
You will assist in developing RFI’s, submittals, work orders, change orders and other trade
correspondence.
You may be visiting project sites to assist in developing a field analysis used to sequence or build a
project. You will use our Take Off software to measure values on blueprints and integrate them into our
landscape software. You may also assist in pricing and purchasing hard goods. You will be
responsible to track proposals, communicating with clients, and assisting with scheduling. Candidates
should have knowledge and understanding of the landscape industry, estimating software and
knowledge of purchasing. This is a full-time seasonal position generally running from March/April to
November/December.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience in Landscaping Industry is a plus
- Knowledge and use of Take Off software
- Ability to work with CAD
- Computer experience is a must
- Ability to take field measurements

Our Landscape Construction Field Supervisor position requires experience leading a diverse team of landscape professionals. The Field Supervisor is tasked with delivering premium landscape installations while developing, growing, and improving the installation team in a supportive professional atmosphere. The Field Supervisor needs to be an experienced driven individual and an engaging leader that works on the job site under the supervision of the Project Manager.

LICENSED PESTICIDE APPLICATOR TECHNICIAN
Description:
Apply various pesticides and fertilizers in accordance with label specifications adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. Perform other turf improvement tasks as necessary.
Job Duties:
Under the direction of supervisor, set-up and operate hand and power spray equipment to spray, and/or spread various chemicals and other designated materials including pesticides, herbicides, weed killer, fertilizers, and specified soil amendments. Must commit to following safe work practices and PPE guidelines, and have excellent record keeping skills. Knowledge of IPM and organic programs a plus.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial and residential settings, using tree spraying and turf spreading/spraying equipment, tractor and aerating equipment
- Must possess a Massachusetts applicator’s license with ability to obtain a commercial license for turf, shade tree and ornamentals
- Knowledge in plant material and turf, and knowledge/experience of fruit tree spraying a plus
- Must be well organized, well spoken, and have fundamental computer and technology comprehension and competence
- Ability to work well with others and to follow directions from supervisor
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card
- Valid driver’s license

- Mow grass with precision, finishing with weed whacking and use of a blower
- Maintenance of equipment by power washing mower following day’s work, greasing and changing blades when necessary
- Ability to perform simple trouble shooting, when mechanical issues arise, and be in communication with company mechanic when larger issues become apparent

Full-time, seasonal position in our Tree Removal Department, assisting the climber in ground operations by collecting/removing of felled branches, chipping brush and responsible for general clean-up of job site. Utilize hand tools, chain saws, chippers and stump grinder.
Job Duties:
- Operate chipping equipment, feeding limbs and brush.
- Collect debris & limbs from tree work into piles.
- Clear sites, streets, and grounds of woody & herbaceous materials.
- Cable, brace, tie, bolt, and stake trees and branches.
- Operate boom trucks, loaders, chippers, tractors, power saws and other tools and equipment necessary for the work at hand.
- Clean, sharpen & lubricate tools & equipment.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in grounds work or tree work.
- Preferred experience in rigging, cabling, stump grinding and operating all equipment associated with the trade.
- Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License is required.

Full-time seasonal position in our Tree Removal Department, assisting the climber by performing complex, multi-step, high risk rigging operations, chipping brush and limbs, also responsible for general cleanup of job site. Utilize hand tools, chain saws, chippers and winches, stump grinders and mini skid steer loader.
Job Duties:
- Operate chipping equipment, feeding limbs and brush by hand with the assistance of equipment and winches
- Operate boom trucks, loaders, chippers, stump grinders, power saws and other tools and equipment necessary for the work at hand
- Sharpen saws and grease equipment
Requirements:

Description:
Countryside Landscape & Design routinely performs commercial and residential jobs of a scope that requires the use of a variety of heavy equipment. Candidate must be licensed and possess the expertise and precision to safely operate trucks of various sizes and weights, along with other construction equipment such as backhoes, front-end loaders and excavators. Must work in strict adherence to safe practices and procedures.
Job Duties:
- Works with, and assists crews digging ditches and trenches, hoisting materials and/or equipment
- Work in adherence to safe practices and procedures
- During winter season, requires plowing snow
Requirements:
- 5 years proven experience in all aspects of machine operation
- Must be able to operate a variety of machinery with precision
- Must understand the mechanics of machines, and routinely check equipment to ensure that all systems are working correctly, and inform management on necessary major repairs
- Must possess a class 2A hoisting license
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Knowledge of the landscape industry a plus
