Aeration - Spring, Aeration - Fall

This is an often overlooked procedure that can really improve your lawn without the use of chemicals.  Aeration is a process that makes holes in the lawn to decompact the soil and puts a hole through the thatch layer of the grass.  Lawn compactions unavoidable, lawn mowing, human and pet traffic and rain all cause soil compaction.  Compacted soils injure grass roots and make it difficult for water and fertilizer to penetrate the soil.  Aeration allows the roots to better accept water and fertilizer and promotes better root growth.  We recommend both spring and fall applications.

Spring - 1 application in the Spring

Fall - 1 application in August
